Friday Update: Summary and Rough Draft Turn In  
How to Submit Your Summary:

Just a reminder, this is mandatory and you need to fill out the following info by June 22nd or else you will be dropped.  (If there is some reason why you won't be able to make the deadline, let us know and we'll do our best to come up with a solution.)

Remember, the information you post is unscreened, so don't give away any surprises that you don't want to masses to know, but give enough info so that our awesome artists know what kind of story to expect.

How to Submit Your Rough Draft:

Rough drafts are due before midnight on June 30th.
1. Send all rough drafts to scifibigbangmod AT gmail DOT com.
2. Please include the words "Rough Draft from YOUR USERNAME" in the subject line.
3. Please send rough draft as an attachment instead of in the body of the email. Please send as .docx, .doc, or .rtf file type. If you have a different word processor that uses a different file type, please let us know and we will try to accomodate it.
4. In the body of the email, please include your LJ or DW username (the one you signed up with and the one you will be posting the story with if different), the title of your story (current working title or just "untitled"), and the fandom you are writing for.

A few notes on rough drafts:
Note One. There are one of two requirements your rough draft must meet: It must be at least 10,000 words or it must be a complete outline of your story.
Note Two. If your rough draft is not complete, please include a detailed summary of the rest of your story at the end of your rough draft. That's it. You've still got until the end of July to finish your story and get it beta'd. We only want what you have done now.
Note Three. If you need an extension on turning in your rough draft for whatever reason, please drop a line with your moderators either through PM or by email.
Note Four. If you do not have an AO3 account but would like one, please include this in your email.

Any other author's notes/warnings: This is a sequel to my SFBB fic from last year, "Goodbye (To Yesterday)," which is based on the canon What If? comic wherein Tony Stark became the Sorcerer Supreme instead of Dr. Strange. It will involve the classic comic Avengers lineup and romance between Tony and Steve Rogers, as well as hints of the same between Thor and Loki.

Summary: Opening himself up to Cam Mitchell's pursuit is harder for John than taking command of Atlantis' military had been. Add in missions going in true Atlantis fashion, finding a Runner, and the ever-present Wraith, it takes months before John finally has an epiphany.

* This is a BDSM universe fic. The idea of a totally bisexual, BDSM 'verse was spawned, for me, by Xanthe. I am playing in this sandbox with her permission.
* Outside of the BDSM 'verse setting, this is canon through The Siege, Part Three of SGA then takes a hard left turn and marches on from there, flitting in and out of canon at will.
* And, not that I think it should matter at all, but this is a sub!John fic.

This is a sequel to this series of mine, which is a take on the AU universe introduced in 3x19 "Out of the Blue." So, yes, an AU of an AU. The story can stand alone but things make a lot more sense if you've read the first two first. There is non-con sex implied in several scenes.

ETA: Mods, a question! If you have a rough draft over 10k but your story isn't complete, do you still have to provide an outline of the rest of your story?

Any other author's notes/warnings: mixed het pairings with potential femslash. Beverly and Kathryn go on an adventure, talk about men, sleep with them (Crusher/Picard, Janeway/Picard, Janeway/Chakotay), have UST (which might be resolved) with each other, and it all culminates in a big, nasty showdown with the Borg Queen, who has all the sexual tension with everyone and messes with timelines.

Title: Cynic's Bridge Part I: Arrival

Rating: R, mainly for language, content is mostly PG-13
Summary: Edric Hunt is a legitimate businessman in a star system largely run by the local mafia. When he runs afoul of its leadership, he's looking for an honest cop. He thinks he might have one in Ahve Servena, but things won't stop exploding long enough for him to find out.
Any other author's notes/warnings: This is an entirely bisexual society, and the main pairing is m/m. The content deals with topics like police corruption, extreme racism, xenophobia, child abuse, the effects of prolonged war and occupation by a hostile force, PTSD, the concept of alternate realities that co-exist and why, and there are also detailed treatments of metaphysics and planetary religions . The story is about 150,000 and is the first of 3 (maybe 4?) parts. So, not light reading, and not really for those who're looking for a smut fix.

What Brynach doesn’t expect, is to have his life turned upside down when the mists return a boy thought lost to the seas, or the magical bird that seems to understand every word he speaks. But when the gods’ claim oaths of men, they affect everyone those men touch, no matter their age or personal plans.

But even in these darkest of days, no one is willing to give in that easily, as long as a little bit of hope remains alive.

Main characters include Harry, Hermione, Ron, Luna, Neville, Buffy, Willow, Faith and Spike. Various other cameos from other fandoms. Main ships are Harry/Hermione and Buffy/Spike.
