Today is July 31st and that meanst the writing period has ended! We use the honor system around here, so if you say that your story is done we will take you at your word. :D :D

Note one: What we mean by "complete" is that your story should be "completely" written. If you do some minor re-writes after today, a little editing, a little beta-ing still needs to be done -- that's absolutely fine!

Note two: For archival purposes, we would love if authors sent us copies of their stories once they're post-ready. This is not mandatory. If you want to send us a copy of your story, email it as an attachment to scifibigbangmod at gmail dot com and put "Final Draft from USERNAME" in the subject line. In the body include your username, the names of the artist and beta reader(s) you are working with, the story title, fandom, rating, and a story summary.

Note three: If you are posting to tumblr or posting to LJ/DW but potsing a link on tumblr, let us know and we'll reblog it from the mod account. If you do not have a tumblr (or do not plan on linking on tumblr), let us know if you would like us to make a tumblr post for you!

Note four: More information about posting (including the posting format) will be up August 6th.

July 31 Stories Due: Stories must be completely written at this time. However, if there's still a scene that's not fully fleshed out to your liking or some beta-work that still needs to be done, that's completely fine.

August
01 - 14: Writers writing, artists arting, betas betaing, and mods crying into their computers trying to make sure they haven't forgotten anything. The usual.

15: Art Due: If you're having trouble making art for your claimed story or have not been able to complete your art by this date, please contact a mod. There will also be a voluntary art collection using a similar format to the one for collecting stories.

16 - 19: Writers, artists, and betas hold a massive celebration, which the mods are not invited to because of the aforementioned crying and their general lack of sanity by this point.
